Hotel breakfast could have been improved with a wider selection of condiments.

The location of this place was stunning, right by the river with beautiful walks starting right at the doorstep. It was a relief not having to use the car during our entire stay. The local pubs, Taggy Man and the Old Forge, were fantastic and served delicious food. Exploring the nearby villages of Nateby and Winton for lunch was a delightful experience.
Our experience at this cottage was not as great as we had hoped. On arrival, we were greeted by a strong damp smell that persisted despite the heating being on.
